Discreet, efficient, confident
Executive Portraits in Frankfurt for Boards and Leadership
Executive portraits for executive boards, managing directors and supervisory boards: calm, confident and so well prepared that 15 minutes of your time are often enough. Since 2007, I have photographed leaders of companies such as Allianz, Merck, CBRE, Savills and DZ Privatbank, as well as the President of the European Central Bank, Christine Lagarde. At Arthouse Studio or directly at your premises.
Executive Portraits in Frankfurt: leadership you can see
An executive portrait is often the first image shareholders, supervisory board members, journalists and future employees see of you: in the annual report, in the press release, on the company website and on LinkedIn. It should show competence without looking stiff, and feel approachable without losing authority. This very balance has been my focus as a business photographer since 2007, today with a studio in Frankfurt.
I photograph executive boards and management teams, supervisory and advisory boards, C-suite executives at young companies and figures from politics and institutions. What they have in common: little time, high standards and images that have to last for years.
Little time, carefully prepared
Board members rarely have an hour to spare. That is why most of the work happens before you enter the room. On request, I visit the location in advance, agree the date, outfit and use of the images with your assistant and set up the lighting and set completely before you arrive. That way, 15 minutes are often enough for executive portraits. If there is more time, we use up to an hour for several looks, set-ups and situations.
In the studio or at your company
I do both equally often. At Arthouse Studio in Frankfurt, we work calmly and undisturbed. On site, I bring a mobile set with Profoto lighting that can be set up in the office, in the conference room or in the lobby, and use the architecture of your building as a backdrop.
Discretion as standard
Many appointments take place under confidentiality, for example before a change on the board or an important company announcement. On request, I sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), and no image is used without your approval.
Headshot, environmental portrait and images for the annual report
One session can cover several types of image that you will use for years across different channels. This applies to the individual CEO portrait just as much as to consistent board portraits of the entire committee. The classic headshot for website, press and LinkedIn. The half-length or three-quarter portrait that shows posture and presence. The environmental portrait in the office or in front of the architecture of your building, which tells the story of your role without needing a caption. Plus timeless black-and-white portraits as well as set-ups for the annual report and press images, with space for text considered from the outset.
Hair & make-up can be booked. It is particularly worthwhile for press images and annual reports that are printed and reproduced at large sizes. If you would like to appear more confident in interviews and press photos, you can book camera coaching for executives (in German) in advance.
Selection on the monitor, images on the same day if you wish
During the shoot, you see every image directly on a large monitor. We decide together which shots will be retouched, so there are no lengthy rounds of feedback by email. You usually receive the finished executive portraits 3 to 5 working days after the selection. If an announcement is imminent, Same Day Delivery is also possible.

Frequently asked questions about executive portraits
How long does an executive portrait take?
With good preparation, 15 minutes are enough for a headshot. For several looks, image types and set-ups on site, please allow up to 60 minutes. I photograph several executives one after another on the same day in a consistent look.
How much do executive portraits cost?
The scope depends on the location, the number of people, the image types and the usage rights. That is why I prepare an individual quote for boards and leadership teams. Prices are available on request.
Can the shoot take place at our company?
Yes. With my mobile set, I photograph on your premises in Frankfurt and throughout the Rhine-Main region. A short look at the location in advance helps to find the best spot for light and background.
Who arranges the appointment?
Usually the executive assistant or corporate communications. I clarify location, time slot, clothing and use with them in advance, so that your appointment runs smoothly.
Your next step
If you are planning executive portraits, for yourself or for the entire board, it is best that we talk briefly about the date, location and use. Portraits of individuals in the studio can be seen on the pages business portraits for men (in German) and business portraits for women (in German), for entire teams on the page Team Headshots.
